Battery Boost Service in Mississauga & Brampton
A dead battery is the most common reason a car will not start — especially on a cold Ontario morning. Request a battery boost in the RoadLift app and a driver comes to you with jumper cables or a portable booster pack to get your engine running again, in your driveway, at work or in a parking lot.

When to request battery boost
Clicking, but the engine will not turn over
Rapid clicking or a dim dashboard when you turn the key is the classic sign of a weak battery. A boost usually fixes it.
Lights or accessories left on
A dome light or headlights left on overnight will drain most batteries. After the boost, drive for at least 20 minutes to recharge.
A cold snap
Ontario winters are hard on batteries over three years old. A boost gets you going — then have the battery tested.
The boost does not work
If the car still will not start, the starter, alternator or fuel system may be the problem. Request a tow to a mechanic.

Clicking when you turn the key, a slow or weak crank, dim dashboard lights, or no power at all. If the engine cranks normally but will not start, the battery is probably not the problem.
The issue may be the starter, alternator or fuel system. You can request a tow to a mechanic in the same app.
Not always. If the battery is older than three to five years or keeps dying, have it load-tested at a parts store or mechanic.
Arrival time depends on your location, traffic, weather and how many drivers are online. Once a driver accepts, you can track them live on the map and chat with them in the app.
